Just two weeks ago, I was sitting on the couch watching TV when I spotted a reel Brittney Saunders had posted wearing a bath towel wrapped on her head. So I did what any hair towel founder would do. I commented and offered to send her a Junie Hair Towel, because bath towels are genuinely so bad for your hair.
What happened next completely changed everything.
It Started With a Ding
Within minutes, my phone dinged with a sale. It was Brittney - and she'd ordered 10 hair towels. My biggest order yet. Then she commented that she'd ordered, and just like that, it snowballed. Followers, messages, comments, and sales all flooding in.
I documented all the behind-the-scenes chaos on my socials, and the response was wild - one of my reels hit over 125k views.
The Friday Afternoon Phone Blow-Up
Then on Friday afternoon, walking back to my car after my final post office run of the week, my phone started blowing up. I thought to myself "something has happened".
Brittney had posted the most incredible reel featuring me, Junie, and the Junie Hair Towel, shouting out small businesses. Within 24 hours, I had completely SOLD OUT. Nearly 350 orders.
The packing mayhem weekend that followed was chaotic, exhausting, and honestly the best weekend of my business life.
